Louis Vuitton leather?

I recently bought a louis vuitton bag from the official online shop. I have read that the leather is not supposed to be stiff, but the leather on mine is a lot more stiff than other leather bags that I have. I am wondering if other people have the bags if there's are also a little more stiff than other leather bags that they have. I specifically have the speedy 30 in monogram canvas.
