What to get my pregnant friend?

One of my very best friends is fourteen and pregnant. I think it might be a good idea for me to get her a girt basket with a lot of inexpensive necessities as well as a few nicer (perhaps monogrammed) items. I am only thirteen and I have NO IDEA what's essential for a baby. Any ideas for the gift basket?
